Canterbury is managing to hold its own this year.
While prices are down a bit, and marketing time is up, we are in no way in a disaster situation like some areas of the country. Remember that if you are ready to move, you may sell your home for less, but you will also be buying your new home for much less.
Our Canterbury development, as well as most other areas of the township, continues to be a hugely popular neighborhood, due to the many conveniences found nearby, proximity to commuter areas like PHILADELPHIA and KING OF PRUSSIA, and the excellent schools for our children!
The mortgage/credit crunch has hurt and taken some buyers out of the market. The Lansdale/North Penn area is not being hit as hard as other areas of the country. We still have many eager buyers and several pharmaceutical companies that continue to relocate employees in and out.
Here are a few homes that have sold in 2008:
213 Twining Road sold in Sept for 350,000.00 128 Forest Trail Drive sold in Sept for 377,500 211 Twining Road sold in Feb for 315,000
209 Walden Lane sold in October for 380,000. 307 Pioneer Spur sold in November for 330,000 143 Canterbury Lane sold in Dec for 388,500
Please remember that I love Canterbury and want nothing more than to see you sell your home for the best price ever. I promise outstanding service and a smooth ride to the closing table.
